To say I was taken aback when I opened the box is a bit of an understatement, as Maono has introduced real innovation in the content creation space with this microphone. The features of the PD500W are out of this world. Not only do you get XLR and USB connectivity, but you also get wireless functionality and onboard recording. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg. This microphone really shines when you throw in the included Maono Link software. You can control gain, recording, noise cancellation, compression, peak limiting, and even EQ. With the ability to fine-tune each of these features to your liking, the sky’s the limit for the Maono PD500W.
