This is my full review for the Fifine Tank3 USB & XLR microphone. In this video I compare the Fifine Tank3 to the Shure SM7B. Which microphone sounds better in your opinion? Be sure to chime in in the comments section. The Tank3 by Fifine has a mute switch, headphone and volume knobs, a USB C port, as well as and XLR port, and 1/8″ headphone jack.

I really like the sound quality of the Fifine’s Tank3. It’s smooth, full, warm, and doesn’t contain any harshness in my opinion. At $99.00 USD the Tank 3 is a great value. It’s well constructed, and delivers on what it set out to do.

The issues I have with the microphone are the mute button and the fact that it operates in USB mode at 16-Bits. In this day and age the minimum spec for USB microphones should be 24-Bit 48kHz. Bit depth has more to do with dynamic range so it’s not a huge deal, but many content creators work in a 24-Bit environment and workflow.

Overall the Fifine Tank3 microphone is a big winner. A capacitive mute button and 24-Bit depth would make this microphone nearly flawless in my opinion.

Another great job by Fifine! Thanks to them for sending this microphone for me to review. It’s greatly appreciated. Please subscribe to the channel.
