My search for the best budget audio interface under $100 continues as I review the Sonic Cube by Sonicake. It’s a 2 in 2 out budget audio interface. This audio interface is 24 bit and a sample rate of 48kHz. While the sonic cube audio interface looks cool, the body is lightweight with extremely tiny gain knobs. This budget audio interface also suffers from what many others do which is low gain preamp and lots of noise when pushed to max gain. It’s unfortunate because I really like the device when paired with easier to drive microphones. The headphone out is amazing at this price point. It easily pushed high impedance headphones and sounds great in the budget friendly range.
